Limon's body to arrive in the country from the US on May 4

The body of Jamil Ahmed Limon, a Bangladeshi student who was murdered in Florida, USA, will arrive in Dhaka on May 4.

Golam Mortoza, Press Minister of the Bangladesh Embassy in Washington, gave this information on Thursday.

The embassy's press minister said that Jamil Ahmed Limon's body will arrive in Dhaka at 8:40 am on May 4.

Earlier, Limon's first funeral was held on Thursday (April 30) at the Islamic Society of Tampa Bay, Florida, USA.

Police recovered the mutilated body of Bangladeshi student Jamil Ahmed Limon on Friday (April 24) after being missing for nearly 10 days. Limon was pursuing a PhD in geography, environmental science and policy at the University of South Florida.

On the same day, Bangladeshi PhD student Nahida Sultana Bristy also went missing. Police recovered parts of Bristy's body. On April 26, parts of the body were recovered from a body of water near I-275 and Fourth Street North in Florida.

Limon's roommate, 24-year-old American Hisham Saleh Abu Gharbeh, has been arrested in connection with the murder and faces two counts of first-degree murder and several other charges.
