'American Curry Awards' to be held in New York on May 24

The 'American Curry Awards' will be held in New York on May 24 with the slogan 'This time you too will be a chef'. This event is being held for the first time under the joint initiative of Mohammad Khalilur Rahman, the owner and chef of 'Khalil Biryani House', which has gained wide fame in America, and Akash Rahman, the head of Asha Group.

The competition also includes housewives with the promise of giving away the 'Best Home Chef Award'. Apart from this, awards will be given to restaurant chefs in 8 categories. These are Best Restaurant, Best Chef, Best Food Blogger, Best Entrepreneur, Chef of the Year, Personality of the Year, Curry Legend Award, and Lifetime Achievement Award.

This information was announced at a press conference held at the auditorium of Khalil Biryani House in Hillside, New York City, on the evening of May 14 (Wednesday), local time. Journalist Hasanuzzaman Sakir moderated and presented a written statement about the event, led by Akash Rahman, head of 'Asha Group'. Md. Khalilur Rahman, owner of 'Khalil Group of Industries', answered the journalists' questions.

At this time, Akash Rahman said, after various selections from among those registered to participate in the competition, more than fifty chefs will be seen in the final competition. And it will be held on May 18 at Khalil Biryani House in the Bronx. On the same day, those interested in receiving the 'Best Home Chef Award' will also cook their items. Extensive preparations are being made for this. The awards will be distributed among those who win on the day on the evening of May 24 at the 'Terrace on the Park' auditorium located in Flushing, New York City.
