Announcement of staging of 'Dewan Ghazir Qissa' in Canada

A two-day theater workshop was held ahead of the staging of Toronto's theater organization, "Eastern Western Theater"'s new production, "Dewan Ghazir Kissa," with the slogan "Do drama with joy, live with joy with drama."

The workshop, held in downtown Toronto, was attended by renowned theatre practitioner and director Mahmudul Islam Selim, who provided training on various aspects of theatre - the concept of stage play, physical exercises, theatre techniques, the social role of theatre, and practical exercises. He was assisted by Shanku Purkayastha. Around 25 theatre workers of different ages participated in the workshop.

At the end of the workshop, director Selim announced that their new production 'Dewan Ghazir Qissa' will be on stage very soon. He said that the play will be a challenging production with a combination of experienced and new theater workers. The participants also expressed their determination to work with dedication.

The director of the theater group said that if all goes well, the play will be staged in front of a Toronto audience by the middle of next year.
