Bangladesh Community Press Club Malaysia held a discussion meeting on the occasion of May Day. The discussion meeting was held on Thursday evening at a hall room in the capital Kuala Lumpur under the chairmanship of the organization's president Aminul Islam Ratan and moderated by organizing secretary Bappi Kumar Das.
Bangladesh Community Press Club Malaysia Senior Vice President Kabi Rafiq Ahmed Khan, General Secretary Zahirul Islam Hiron, Former President Mustafa Imran Raju, Vice President Kaiser Hamid Hannan, Khandaker Mostaq Ahmed Royal, Office Secretary Sawkat Hossain Johnny, Member Bashir Ibne Jafar also spoke at the meeting. The speakers said that the working class is still fighting all over the world for various demands including decent wages, working conditions, standard of living, etc. Malaysia is no exception. Thousands of workers in this country are also victims of various types of harassment at different times. There are rumors that the Malaysian labor market is reopening. We want there should be no syndicates like in the past in sending workers, and that the cost of immigration should be within the reach of the incoming workers. And that the government should send workers to the right companies so that the workers do not have to wander the streets of Malaysia without finding work.
