BGPAA's Annual Scientific Conference held in Adelaide

The Bangladeshi General Practitioners Association of Australia (BGPAA) held its annual scientific conference at the Adelaide Convention Centre in Australia on Saturday, August 9). The day-long event turned into a lively gathering of red and green with the spontaneous participation of over a hundred Bangladeshi doctors.

The conference, which began at 9 am, featured professional educational seminars for doctors, CPD programs, and various supportive clinical discussions. The inaugural ceremony was graced by the welcoming remarks of outgoing president Dr. Nizamul Islam and general secretary Dr. Rafiqur Rahman. Renowned doctors and experts presented cases in the clinical and CPD sessions of the conference.

At the end of the day, the AGM was held, where the new executive council was announced. Dr. Parvez Khan was elected president for the coming year and Dr. Sajidul Islam took over as general secretary.

The evening featured a gala dinner and cultural evening, titled 'Ours and Others'. The program was filled with songs, dances, poems and fun chats with the spontaneous participation of the doctors' families. The audience enjoyed a unique evening with the lively presentations of the two program hosts. Finally, the musical performance of Adelaide's popular band 'Rong' enlivened the entire event.

The BGPAA Annual Scientific Conference 2025 concluded at around 11 pm with numerous memorable moments and a joyful atmosphere.
