Like every year, this year too, the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi is being celebrated with religious fervor in Malaysia. In Malaysia, the day is known as 'Mawlid-ul-Rasul', which translates to the birthday of the Prophet. On this occasion, Muslims in the country express their love for the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) through various events.

A gathering was organized at the Putrajaya International Convention Center on Friday morning (September 5) local time to mark the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi.

The rally, titled 'Pembangun Ummah Madani', was attended by Malaysia's King Sultan Ibrahim and Her Majesty Queen Zarith Sophia. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and his wife Datin Seri Dr. Wan Azizah, and Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Dr. Mohamed Naeem Moktar also attended the rally.

At the rally, King Sultan Ibrahim called on the country's citizens to follow the path of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to foster unity in society. Addressing the thousands of people present, he said that Malaysia will truly reach the pinnacle of success if it adheres to Islamic law and the noble values ​​and ideals of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Thousands of voices were reciting the blessings and peace of the Prophet at the rally organized under the supervision of the Prime Minister's Religious Affairs Office. More than a hundred groups representing various government and private organizations participated in it. In total, several thousand people participated. Since Eid-ul-Miladunnabi was a government holiday, teachers and students of mosques, madrasas, schools, colleges, and universities also participated in this rally every year. King Sultan Ibrahim presented the National Maulidur Rasul Award at the event.
