Futsal tournament to be held in Malaysia on Victory Day

On the occasion of Victory Day, the 'Izjan Global Futsal Tournament' will be held in Malaysia under the auspices of the City University Chapter Committee of the Bangladeshi Youth Alliance Malaysia (BIAM). This exciting competition will be held on December 21 at the Setapak Indoor Stadium in Kuala Lumpur with the participation of 10 universities.

The organizers confirmed this information at a press conference held at a prestigious hotel on Wednesday (December 10). It is said that this is not just a tournament, but a big step towards creating an environment of unity, friendship, cultural exchange, and healthy competition among Bangladeshi students in Malaysia.

Speaking at the press conference, BIAM Secretary and Tournament Event Coordinator MD Rafiqul Islam said, "BIAM has always been working for academic development, sports, culture and career development. We want to highlight the positive culture and sports spirit of the country through this tournament."

Tofail Ahmed, Managing Director of Izjan Global, was present as the chief guest at the event. He said, "We want this event to be organized regularly every year. Sports play an important role in the mental development of students, team spirit, and maintaining discipline."

Among others present at the event were BIAM Central Committee President Bashir Ibne Jafar, VP Usama Bin Abdul Bari, UPM Bangladeshi Community Advisor Ashibur Hasnat Sadi, BIAM City University Chapter President Mohaiminul Islam Ratul, members of the Malaysia Bangladeshi Press Club, and students from various universities.

The organizers stated that this year's tournament is sponsored by TS Tours and Travels, a higher education and travel consultancy service provider. The participating universities in this event are the host City University, International Islamic University Malaysia, UPM, MAHSA, Cyberjaya, UCMI, Alpha, Asia Pacific University, Lincoln University and Geomatica University.

Meanwhile, a festive atmosphere has already been created among Bangladeshi students around the tournament. Everyone is waiting for an exciting battle on the field.
