The Calgary Tagore Society organized a Rabindra Jayanti Music Evening at the Rockridge Community Association Hall in Calgary, Canada. This is the third production of the Calgary Tagore Society. At the event, artists showcased the work of poet Rabindranath Tagore in exile through poetry, music, and dance. 

Rabindranath was enthralled by the resonance of Rabindranath's writings, melodies, and philosophy in the program. The program began with a speech by Calgary Tagore Society President Saiful Islam Ripon. Then Tanisha danced Fagun Haway Haway, Tashfin Husain Tapur performed Abriti, and singers Chandrima Oishi, Raisa Afrida, Rita Karmakar, Subhasish Chakraborty, Keka Sengupta, and Tirtha Saha performed music respectively. Bappi Debroy accompanied him on the tabla. Jayanta Basu was in charge of sound. Mushfiq Salehin and Ayan Sarkar were in charge of technical skills. ‌

Calgary Tagore Society General Secretary Khoyer Khondaker Rubel planned and directed the event. The organizers said the main goal was to highlight Rabindranath's art and philosophy from generation to generation in the diaspora.
