The festival of Bengalis' lives is Pohela Baishakh. Although it was a little late due to the busyness of the diaspora and the weekend, the traditional Bengali New Year 1433 event, organized by the Udichi French Parliament, became a bustling event with the presence of festival-crazy Bangladeshis.

The event was held in a hall in the city of Uberville, France, in a joyful and festive atmosphere, with a colorful procession, painting competition, songs, poems, dances, plays, and cultural programs by children and adolescents.

The discussion, jointly moderated by the organization's president Kiranmoy Mondal and general secretary Sakhawat Hossain Howlader, was attended by the first assistant mayor of Uberville, Marie Nabila Jebari, second assistant mayor Guillaume Leska, third assistant mayor Wilfield, director of Music du Monde Kamel Dafri, and former director of the Language and Cultural Center Carlos Samedu.

After the discussion, the cultural program began with a solo magic show by magician Jahangir Hossain. This was followed by songs and dances performed by children and teenagers from Bangla School (Bangla Language and Cultural Center) run by Udichi.

After the cultural program of the children, a Shruti Natak was held. Saiful Islam, Shampa Barua, Sharmistha Barua, Meri Hawlader, Abu Bakar Alamin, and Mitu Pal participated in it. The biggest attraction was the melodious musical performance of Rahul Anand, singer of the 'Joler Gaan' band, which touched the hearts of thousands of viewers.
