Volunteer team's Iftar mahfil in Malaysia

The Iftar and Doa Mahfil of the Bangladesh Nationalist Volunteer Party Malaysia branch was held on Sunday. The event was chaired by the party's Malaysia branch convener, Dr. SM Rahman Tonu, and moderated by member secretary Shamsul Alam Helal Sikder. BNP Malaysia branch president Engineer Badlur Rahman Khan was present as the chief guest.

BNP National Executive Committee member and Malaysia branch general secretary Mohammad Mosharraf Hossain Miyaji was present as the main speaker. Malaysia BNP Vice President Mr. Abdul Jalil Liton, Deputy General Secretary Fazlul Karim Sohrab, Deputy General Secretary Kazi Salauddin, Organizing Secretary Mirza Salauddin and Office Secretary Aminul Islam Ratan were present as special guests.

Also present at the time were newly elected president of the Nationalist Youth Party Malaysia branch Jasim Uddin, general secretary Ramzan Ali, organizing secretary Russell Rana, convener of the JASAS Malaysia branch Sheikh Asaduzzaman Masum, PhD researcher IIUM Professor Md. Shafiur Rahman, joint convener of the Volunteer Party Malaysia branch Golam Kabir, Imran Hossain, Mosharraf Hossain (Hridoy), MM Mozammel Haque Prodhan, MM Saheb Sultan Maruf, M Mahfuzur Rahman Sohel, Mohiuddin Mohim, Akhtar Hossain, Akhter Gazi. Members Mr. Abdul Wadud Tota, Mohammad Ali, Mohammad Kibria, Alim Ullah, Palash Talukder, Md. Jewel, Monir Hossain, Osman Gani, Abdul Alim, Mohammad Anik, Millad Hossain, Md. Aslam, Mohammad Jamal, Malaysia Jubo Dal Vice President Khalid Hasan Ripon, Joint General Secretary Zahirul Islam Ripon, Co-Organizing Secretary Saidur Rahman Babu, Co-Organizing Secretary Mosharraf Hossain, Publicity Secretary Badal Karan, Joint Convener of JASAS Malaysia Branch Faisal Ahmed.  Among the student representatives from various universities, Mohammad Abid, Md. Tahmid, Mohammad Rashed and others were present, along with general expatriates.

At the beginning of the Iftar and Doa Mahfil, the joint convener of the Volunteer Party Malaysia branch, MM Mozammel Haque Prodhan, recited from the Holy Quran. During the program, special prayers and supplications were offered for the eternal peace of the souls of BNP founder martyr President Ziaur Rahman, former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, their son Arafat Rahman Koko, and for the good health of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and the well-being of the country and the nation. The prayers and supplications were conducted by Hafez Mao. Abu Taher.
