The Australia Bangladesh Health Forum (ABHF) organized its annual family picnic in Sydney in a joyful and festive atmosphere. The day-long event was held at the beautiful Lakeside Pavilion, Australian Botanic Gardens, Mount Annan, Sydney, last Sunday.
The event turned into a lively gathering, with spontaneous participation from expatriate Bangladeshi health professionals, their families, and guests.
The program began with the arrival of guests and breakfast. Later, the formal activities began with the performance of the national anthems of Australia and Bangladesh. In his address at the event, ABHF President Dr. Satyajit Dutta warmly welcomed all the members, guests, and their families present.
He highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation, professional connections, and social harmony among Bangladeshi health professionals living abroad.
The day-long event featured fun games, participatory activities, and delightful cultural performances for children and family members. Along with lunch and refreshments, the participants got the opportunity to spend quality time with each other. Despite the drizzle, everyone came together under one roof and enjoyed the fun, which added a different dimension to the entire event.
