Eid in Canada is on Friday

The holy Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Friday (March 20) local time in Canada. Eid-ul-Fitr congregations will be held in various locations in Calgary, Canada.  

In Calgary, Canada, the main Eid congregation will be held at Akram Jumma Mosque at 8 am, the second Eid prayer at 9:30 am, and the third Eid prayer at 11 am. 

Sheikh Jamal Hammoud, Senior Imam of the Muslim Council of Calgary, will lead the prayers. 

Eid prayers will also be held at the Bangladesh Community Mosque, BMICC. The first Eid prayer will be held at the BMICC Mosque at 9 am, and the second Eid prayer will be held at 10 am. 

In addition, religious devotees from different countries will offer prayers in their respective communities from the morning.
