8-team cricket tournament initiated by Bangladeshi students in Malaysia

A major short-pitch cricket event, "Nixa Global Battle for the Wickets 2025", is being organized by the Bangladeshi Youth Alliance Malaysia (BIAM)-City University Chapter Committee, a youth student organization in Malaysia.

This tournament will be held next Sunday with the participation of students from 8 different universities.

Ahead of the tournament, leaders of the City University Chapter Committee held a press conference at a hotel in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday. They said that the main goal of the tournament is to increase mutual understanding and communication among students through this event as part of extracurricular activities in addition to studies.

The teams participating in the tournament are Host City University, International Islamic University, Mahsa, Cyberjaya, UCSI, Inti International University, Lincoln University, and Geomatica University.
