Ahead of the Bangladesh women's national football team's historic participation in the AFC Women's Asian Cup-2026, an important community information session was held in Sydney, Australia.
The official information session was held at 2 Erica Lane, Minto, Sydney, on Wednesday evening.
The Bangladesh women's football team is set to participate in Asia's largest football tournament for the first time from March 1 to March 21. This information session was organized to prepare and organize the expatriate Bangladeshi community around this historic achievement.
The live briefing at the event was provided by Ms. D. Raghavan, representative of the Asian Football Confederation (FC) Organizing Committee and Culture Pulse, the official event experience and fan engagement partner of the tournament.
The session covered how spectators and supporters can create a vibrant and festive atmosphere at the stadium through official chants, integrated fan activities, and creative initiatives. It also provided detailed insights into the match venue's stadium facilities, entry procedures, designated fan zones, halal food, beverage, and prayer arrangements, ticketing information, match-day schedule, and security management.
The event, moderated by Hossain Kabir, was presided over by Abdul Khan Ratan, President of the Australia Bangladesh Business Forum and Australia Representative of the Bangladesh Football Federation.
