High Commissioner exchanges views with Bangladeshis living in Malaysia's Johor

Bangladesh High Commissioner to Malaysia, Md. Manjurul Karim Khan Chowdhury held a meeting with expatriate Bangladeshis in Johor, Malaysia, to exchange views on the voting rights of expatriate Bangladeshis in the upcoming national elections. During the meeting, their identity cards (smart cards) were distributed to them.

The meeting was held at a hotel in Johor Baru on Friday (November 7) night. High Commissioner Md. Manjurul Karim Khan Chowdhury spoke as the chief guest at the event.

The Bangladeshis living abroad provided their valuable feedback to the High Commissioner on various issues, including the voting process in the upcoming elections, the High Commission's consular services, etc. The High Commissioner listened to their views and provided his feedback.

At the end of the meeting, the High Commissioner distributed national identity cards (smart cards) among the expatriates. A lively exchange of views took place in the presence of expatriate Bangladeshis.

Bangladesh High Commission Deputy High Commissioner Mosammat Shahanara Monika and Counselor (Consular) Md. Morshed Alam was present at the time.
