Bangladesh at the 21st edition of Malaysia Halal Showcase

Bangladesh participated in the 21st edition of the Malaysia International Halal Showcase. Organized by the Export Promotion Bureau of Bangladesh and coordinated by the Bangladesh High Commission in Kuala Lumpur, the four-day fair was held from September 17 to 20, 2025, at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre. Eight Bangladeshi industrial organizations and the Bangladesh-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry participated in the fair.

Global Capsules Limited, Golden Plus Food and Beverage Limited, Apex Convenience Foods Limited, KMR Kraft, Remark HB Limited, New Zealand Dairy Products Bangladesh Limited, MNL Designer Zone, Gorgeous with Trend, and Nouris Foods Limited are participating in the fair from Bangladesh in the categories of food and beverages, leather and leather products, pharmaceuticals, household and personal care, cosmetics, and ready-made garments.

The Bangladesh High Commission in Malaysia is providing overall support to the participating organizations, including networking and business matchmaking.

Baby Rani Karmakar, Director General-1, Export Promotion Bureau and Acting High Commissioner of Bangladesh High Commission, Mosammat Shahanara Monika inaugurated the Bangladesh Pavilion on Wednesday (September 17).

At this time, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Bangladesh Muhammad Rehan Uddin, CIN Director of Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (Metrade) S. Jaishankar, Director (Business Events) of event organization QUBE INTEGRATED MALAYSIA Eunis Latif, President of Bangladesh-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industries Sabbir A Khan, other business representatives of the chamber and representatives of organizations participating in the fair, First Secretary (Commercial) of the Bangladesh High Commission Pranab Kumar Ghosh, officials and employees of the High Commission and expatriate Bangladeshi media representatives were present. Later, the guests visited the fair and Bangladeshi stalls and spoke to Bangladeshi businessmen and gave various suggestions to expand the market of their products in Malaysia and assured all kinds of cooperation from the Bangladesh government.
