Bangladesh participates in international trade fair in Greece

The 89th International Trade Fair has commenced in the commercial city of Thessaloniki, Greece, where the Bangladesh Embassy in Athens is participating. The fair will take place from September 6, 2025, to September 14, 2025.

Bangladesh's stall at the fair displayed the country's versatile garment products, ceramics, jute products and leather products. In addition, the attractive aspects of Bangladesh's tourism sector were highlighted through publicity. A PowerPoint presentation on Bangladesh's exportable products was presented in front of the visitors, which created great interest among businessmen and visitors.

The President of the Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and the Director of the fair visited the Bangladesh stall. They expressed interest in the potential sectors of Bangladesh and expressed their hope for increasing commercial cooperation between the two countries in the future. Present at the event were the Bangladesh Embassy Ambassador Nahida Rahman Sumana and First Secretary Rabeya Begum, who welcomed the guests and highlighted the diversity of the country's art and culture.
