First Bangladeshi-owned auto care service opens in Calgary

'Tiger Auto and Tire', an auto care service owned by expatriate Bangladeshis, is set to be inaugurated in Calgary, Canada, on Sunday (May 17) local time.

In line with the number of Bangladeshi-owned companies in Canada, the number of Bangladeshi-owned companies is increasing day by day. Bangladeshis are creating employment opportunities for Bangladeshis in these companies, not only by bringing in foreign currency, but also by combining their knowledge and experience with the products of their own country.

To this end, with the great vow of serving the Bangladeshi expatriates, the grand inauguration of the Bangladeshi-owned 'Tiger Auto and Tire' in Calgary on Sunday local time has created great enthusiasm among the expatriates. The inauguration day will be attended by Bangladesh Canada Association of Calgary President Iqbal Rahman, General Secretary Asif Hossain, members of various social and cultural organizations, businessmen, journalists, community figures and dignitaries.

Didarul Alam, the owner of 'Tiger Auto and Tire', said, "With nearly 35 years of experience, I will now directly present 'Tiger Auto and Tire' to provide services and advice to the Bangladeshis and other language speakers of Calgary on any auto-related issues. I hope that as the only Bangladeshi organization, I will be able to provide you with better service than before."

He said, "We expatriates want to promote our country above all others even abroad. Along with the development of this country's economy, we also want to develop the economy of Bangladesh."

He further said that arrangements have been made for the day-long inauguration of 'Tiger Auto and Tire' on Sunday, which will be a traditional Chittagong mejbani meal. He also humbly requested all expatriate Bengalis in Calgary to be present on the inauguration day.

It is worth noting that this is the first Bangladeshi-owned auto-related company in Calgary, Canada.
