The much-anticipated 'Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris 2025' international textile fair has officially opened. The three-day fair was inaugurated on Monday (September 15) morning at the international Paris Le Bourget Exhibition Centre, located on the outskirts of Paris.
Organized by 'Messe Frankfurt France', this fair is considered one of the world's largest fashion sourcing platforms. More than 1,300 companies from more than 30 countries are participating in it. Various types of fabrics, garments, accessories, advanced textile technologies and leather products are being displayed at the fair.
Major exhibitors include companies from China, India, Turkey, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Organizers expect significant participation from key producing countries such as Bangladesh, Pakistan, Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia.
A total of 19 organizations are participating in this year's fair from Bangladesh, including 6 government-led organizations under the supervision of the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) and 13 private-level organizations.
The main attraction of this year's exhibition is special discussions and sessions on inspiring ideas, sustainable fashion, and eco-friendly production methods for the 2026-2027 autumn-winter collection. It provides an opportunity for fashion entrepreneurs, designers, and brand representatives to get new directions.
The exhibition is free and open to all, which has attracted great interest from visitors from all over the world, including Europe. According to statistics, more than 80 percent of the visitors to the fair come from countries outside France. Traders and buyers from various European countries, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Italy, and Turkey, regularly participate in the fair.
