The first three-day convention, organized by 'Quiet Worldwide', was held at the Radisson Hotel in Calgary, Canada. About 60 engineers and their family members from different countries of the world participated in the convention, which began on July 31.
One of the highlights of the three-day convention was the panel discussion on August 1. Here, Bangladeshi students and professionals discussed various strategies to prepare themselves efficiently and competitively in the global job market, including Canada. Experienced and senior professionals working in various organizations provided important guidance on various issues of career planning, entering the job market, professional development, and promotion.
Participants in the panel discussion also highlighted the importance of getting to know professionals from different countries, including Canada, directly, exchanging experiences, and building professional networks.
The convention also included reminiscing about university life by current and former students, cultural performances, and an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful natural beauty of various cities in the province of Alberta.
The organizers said that this convention of 'Quote Worldwide' abroad is an important initiative to bring together former and current students of the university and Bangladeshi professionals. Through this, students and young professionals have an opportunity to get acquainted with experienced people from various sectors, which they hope will play a positive role in their future careers.
The organizers also said that the next convention of 'Quiet Worldwide' will be held in Perth, Australia, in April 2028.
Mohammad Shahidul Islam Apu, Delwar Hossain Titu, Mejbah Uddin Bhuiyan, Mahbubur Rahman Shahin and Taifur Islam, among others were present at the event.
