Bangabandhu Foundation Exchange Meeting in New York

Former foreign minister and president of the foundation's central committee Dr. Bangabandhu Foundation's discussion meeting in New York. AKA Momen MP said, keeping the spirit of liberation war alive, we want to build Bangabandhu's dream of a golden Bengal, a non-communal, peaceful country with a stable economy of harmony. Where everyone is guaranteed medical care, the housing crisis will disappear. Bangabandhu said that to build a golden Bengal, we need golden people. 

On the evening of July 18, the United States branch of this foundation, in a discussion meeting with the new executive committee for the period of 2024-2025. Momen also said about Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib, the greatest Bengali father of the nation, that Bangabandhu's lifelong dream was to establish a social state and peace in the whole world. He said, there is no alternative to peace for development. Bangladesh will be the Sweden of the East and Bangladesh will convey the message of peace to the neighboring countries. Bangabandhu received the Julio Curie Prize for Peace. In that light, we want to publish many articles in the light of Bangabandhu's character traits. Besides, I would like to introduce a 'Bangabandhu Peace Award' in light of Bangabandhu's philosophy, which will be awarded every two years.  

Dr. Momen, however, said that there is a great lack of those golden people in today's society. I hope that every leader and worker of my Bangabandhu Foundation will work as the golden man of Bangabandhu. Therefore, everyone should be exposed to the glory of sacrifice.

Momen said, I am happy to see that there are many people in the new committee of the United States branch of Bangabandhu Foundation, each of whom is well-known for their work, and in American society, they are making a very honorable contribution to Bengalis and Bangladesh. Several freedom fighters are also in the leadership.
