Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, a member of the Standing Committee of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, has sought the cooperation of Australian senators and MPs in the work of building a post-election Bangladesh.
He made these remarks while virtually joining the Bangladesh Nationalist Party's 47th founding anniversary celebration at Lakembar Library Hall in Sydney, Australia, on Sunday. He hopes that the elections will be held on time and in a proper manner.
The special guest at the event was Mohammad Rashedul Haque, Secretary for International Affairs of the National Executive Committee. The speakers at this anniversary event of BNP said that if there is any conspiracy to organize the national elections in the coming February, they will prevent it. The BNP leaders also threatened to break the poison teeth of the conspiracy. They asked every party worker to be vigilant.
In his speech as the chief guest, Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury said, "I extend my greetings to all levels of BNP workers and leaders residing in Australia. Congratulations to you. I thank you. There is no hesitation in saying that you have suffered a lot in the past movement and struggle. Australian senators and MPs have played a very active role in the overall affairs of Bangladesh. We have received the results of your work. Please continue this effort."
