BNP holds 31-point workshop in Malaysia

The Johor provincial branch of the party held a workshop and cultural program in Malaysia on the 31-point plan for repairing the state structure presented by BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.

BNP National Standing Committee member Nazrul Islam Khan delivered a virtual speech as the chief guest at a 31-point workshop and enjoyable cultural program organized at the ballroom of the Barjaya Waterfront Hotel in Johor Bahru on Sunday afternoon (May 11).

The program, which began with recitation of the Holy Quran, prayers, and the performance of national and party songs, was launched by BNP Malaysia branch president Engineer Badlur Rahman Khan, who highlighted the main goals of Tarique Rahman's 31-point program in front of everyone present with

the help of digital technology. Regarding the workshop, he said, 'We will work to spread the dream of our beloved leader Tarique Rahman to run the country with the 31 points. After Bangladesh became independent in 1971, Shaheed Zia established a multi-party democracy in Bangladesh by freeing it from one-party rule in 1975. In 1990, the autocratic Ershad was ousted under the uncompromising leadership of Begum Khaleda Zia. Similarly, Tarique Rahman played the highest role in ousting the fascist Hasina in the July-August revolution of 2024.'

Johor Province BNP President Md. Zainul Abedin presided over the workshop and conducted by Publicity Secretary Rahmat Ullah, Johor BNP Advisor and Malaysia BNP Vice-President MJ Alam delivered the welcome speech.

At that time, he gave practical examples of the strong leadership and courageous steps of martyr President Ziaur Rahman on the issue of independence and sovereignty of Bangladesh.

Special guests who spoke at the event were Malaysia BNP Vice President SM Rahman Tonu, Johor BNP Branch General Secretary Md. Abdul Mannan, Malaysia BNP Office Secretary, Md. Aminul Islam Ratan, Malaysia BNP Member, Jasim Uddin, Jubo Dal Malaysia Branch Co-General Secretary, Ramzan Ali, Co-Organizing Secretary, Hasibur Rahman Shanto, and leaders and activists of Johor Province BNP branches, organs, and associate organizations.
