BNP's 47th founding anniversary celebrated in Toronto

The 47th founding anniversary of BNP was celebrated in Toronto, Canada. The event was presided over by Milad Chowdhury, President of the Nationalist Forum of Ontario, and moderated by Zakaria Chowdhury, former Organizing Secretary of BNP Canada.

Faisal Ahmed Chowdhury, member of the Central Executive Committee of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, was present as the chief guest at the event. Salma Zahid, MP, Vice-Chairman of the Canada-Bangladesh Parliamentary Committee (Bangladesh Caucus), was the special guest.

Also present were former Canada BNP advisor Abdul Muhith and former general secretary AK Azad.

Omar Faruk led the prayer at the event. Former chairman Abul Hasnat, Farhad Mishu Nirbahi, Sarwar Hossain, Delwar Hossain Bachchu, Chowdhury, Saiful Islam Sohel, Sohel Ahmed, Sarwar Rashed, Kazi Raiful Shamim, Bulbul Ahmed, Abdul Hamid Chowdhury, Mahbub Sajeeb, and others spoke.

At the beginning of the program, prayers were offered for the eternal peace of the departed soul of President Ziaur Rahman.

The speakers said that the BNP's 47-year journey has been based on this belief: the struggle for democracy and the movement for human rights.

They also stated that the primary objective of the nationalist forces is to establish a peaceful and humane society, and they are working towards achieving this goal.
