BNP's Eid reunion rally in New York

At the Eid reunion rally of BNP (North) in New York, BNP Chairperson's advisor and former opposition party chief whip Zainul Abedin Faruk said, "We also know those who say that BNP spits out by holding elections." BNP had support for Professor Dr. Yunus, and support has not been withdrawn yet. It would not be right to delay the elections just because there are various controversial issues. Referring to Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus as a slandered person, the BNP leader said, "Conduct the elections in such a way that you are not slandered."

At the rally held at the Al Aqsa Chinese Restaurant in the Bronx on Saturday evening, BNP Central Vice Chairman and former minister Advocate Nitai Roy Chowdhury said that Sheikh Mujib did not want the independence of Bangladesh, he wanted to become the Chief Minister of Pakistan. Although the Awami League showed its sympathy for the country and democracy, they have basically played the twelve drums of the country. They killed democracy in Bangladesh after independence and established a one-party rule. 

New York Metropolitan (North) BNP President, writer Ahbab Chowdhury Khokon, presided over the rally and was moderated by General Secretary Faiz Chowdhury, BNP Chairperson's advisor, singer Baby Nazneen spoke as the guest of honor.

BNP Central International Affairs Secretary Anwar Hossain Khokon spoke virtually from London as the main speaker. BNP Central Committee member Zillur Rahman Zillu, former US BNP General Secretary Mustafa Kamal Pasha Babul, and former Treasurer Jasim Bhuiyan spoke as special guests.
