Discussion and prayer event in Malaysia to mark Kiron's nomination

Kiron's support group, Malaysia branch, held a discussion and prayer event to celebrate the nomination of Alhaj Shafiqur Rahman Kiron as an MP from BNP for the Shariatpur-2 (Naria-Sakhipur) constituency in the upcoming national parliamentary elections.

The event, organized at a restaurant in Kuala Lumpur, the capital, on Sunday evening, was presided over by the organization's president, Mohammad Emon Hasan. Shafiqur Rahman Kiron spoke virtually as the chief guest.

In his speech, he said that expatriates must play a role in ensuring that BNP-nominated candidates win the three seats in Shariatpur by voting with a grain of rice.

The program was hosted by Saidur Rahman Babu. During this time, special guests included Talha Mahmud, founder, general secretary, and vice-president of Malaysia BNP, Md. Kazi Salauddin, Deputy General Secretary and Chief Advisor of the Kiran Supporters Group Malaysia branch, Kazi Ziaul Haque Zia, Vice-President of the Swechchhasebak Dal Malaysia branch and Advisor to the organization, and Shamsul Alam Helal Sikder.

Saiful Islam Doel delivered a welcome speech at the event. Malaysian BNP leader Engineer Shahjalal, Anwar Parvez, and Swechchhasebak Dal member Palash Talukder also spoke.
