A new committee was formed in the general meeting of the United States Hindu-Buddhist-Christian Unity Council. Dr. Thomas Dulu Ray, Dr. Dweejan Bhattacharya, and Ranveer Barua became the three presidents, and Bishnugop became the general secretary.
Last Friday evening, the Unity Council's general members and directors met jointly at a restaurant in Jamaica, New York City.
At this time, a three-year executive council, management council, board of trustees, and advisory council were formed.
Election Commissioner Birmuktijoddha Avinash Acharya, Dr. Jiten Roy, and Nukum Adhikari announced the list of the new committee with the consent of the general members. At that time the officers of the subject committee included Sushil Kumar Saha, Asim Saha, Bhajan Sarkar, Sushil Sinha, Sukant Das, and Dr. Dilip Nath.
The committee includes treasurer Chandan Sengupta, vice presidents Pradeep Malakar, Reena Saha, and Tapan Sen, joint general secretaries Partha Talukder, Kumar Babul Saha, and Suman Mitra, and organizing secretary Sukanth Das.
The editorial board members are Piyas Das, Jolly Saha, Bamesh Roy, Sujan Roy, Ranjit Purkayastha, Pradeep Kundu, Jayant Chakraborty, Vidyut Dev, Edward Halsana, Rajeev Nandy, Biswajit Saha, Rana Dutta, Ashish Pal, Jhalak Roy, Vikas Sarkar, Gautam Sarkar, Rani Das, Maitrishar Barua, and Biplab Pal.
The executive members are Himadri Vanik, Animesh Roy, Asim Kumar Dhar, Shoumik Chowdhury, Gopalchand, Hiralal Roy, Suman Das, Sheikh Raranjan Pal, and Steven Mondal.
