A prayer and discussion meeting was held in Malaysia on the 11th death anniversary of Arafat Rahman Koko, the younger son of martyred President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister late Begum Khaleda Zia.
The BNP Malaysia branch organized the event at a restaurant in Kuala Lumpur after Maghrib on Sunday.
Under the chairmanship of Malaysia BNP Vice President Abdul Jalil Liton and moderated by Aminul Islam Ratan, the following spoke at the event: Deputy General Secretary Fazlul Karim Sohrab, Md. Kazi Salauddin, Klang BNP President Md. Zakir Hossain, General Secretary Ismail Majumder, JASAS Convener Asaduzzaman Masum, BNP leaders Engineer Shah Jalal, Anwar Parvez, youth leaders, Zakaria, Babu Sarkar, Volunteer Party leaders Golam Kabir and Sohel Mahmud, among others.
Later, special prayers and supplications were offered seeking forgiveness for the departed soul of Arafat Rahman Koko.
It is worth noting that Arafat Rahman Koko passed away on January 24, 2015, at a hospital in Kuala Lumpur after suffering from heart disease.
