UK BNP forms a partial convening committee

BNP has formed a new partial convening committee of the UK BNP. Abul Kalam Azad has been appointed as the convener, and Khasruzzaman Khasru has been appointed as the member secretary.

A press release signed by the party's senior joint secretary general, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, on Monday said that the full committee will be announced 'soon'.

The last UK committee president of the BNP was MA Malik, and the general secretary was Qaysar M. Ahmed. After the fall of the Awami League government in the July 24th mass uprising, both of them returned home and became active in BNP politics.

MA Malik has received the BNP nomination from the Sylhet-3 constituency, and Kaysar M Ahmed from Sunamganj-3 constituency.
