Rabindranath Tagore's 84th death anniversary observed in Canada

A cultural program, 'Tabu Ananta Jage', was held at the Tagore Centre in North York, Toronto, Canada, to mark the 84th death anniversary of poet Guru Rabindranath Tagore, organized by Rabicharsha.

Dr. Sanjeev Mukherjee, the patron of Rabicharcha, welcomed everyone to the event and began a colorful program of songs, poems and collections of sayings. He has been working intensively to introduce Rabindranath to the new generation. Even at the age of 90, his two mesmerizing songs touched the hearts of the audience. The harmony of his rhythm and rhythm was amazing.

The presence of veteran artists Chitra Sarkar, Bablu Haque, Nahid Kabir Kakoli, and young, promising artist Shobha Akbar of Rabindranath Shilpi Sangstha cast a special light on the event. Apart from this, other artists, including Manjushri Nandi, Anind Banerjee, and Apresh Chakraborty, also participated.

Artist Dilip Chakraborty spoke about Rabindranath's thoughts and works. Farzana Haque and Himadri Roy presented poems. Debanjana Mukherjee Bhowmik hosted the program and Sonali Roy provided the overall supervision.

The musical performance was performed by Chinmoy Kar on tabla and Ruptanu Sharma on keyboard. The audience enjoyed this mesmerizing performance amidst pin-drop silence.
