After garnering praise from audiences and critics in theaters across the country, the Bengali film 'Roid', which was released on Eid, has now begun its journey in the United States.
The film was released simultaneously in 31 cities across 20 states in the United States on Friday (June 26) for North American audiences. International distribution company Bioscope Films said that through this screening, foreign audiences will also have the opportunity to watch the film, in addition to expatriate Bangladeshis living in the United States.
Directed by Mejbaur Rahman Sumon, 'Roid' was released in theaters across the country on Eid al-Adha. Even a few weeks after its release, the film is still being screened in various Cineplexes across the country.
Mostafizur Noor Imran and Nazifa Tushi play the two central roles in the movie. In addition, Gazi Raqayet, Ahsabul Yamin Riyad and many others play important roles.
Earlier, 'Roid' premiered in Australia on June 5. The film's international release has expanded further with its release in the United States.
