8th Bangladesh Festival held in Toronto

The 8th Bangladesh Festival 2025 was held in a festive and colorful setting at the Pavilion in Toronto, Canada. In the presence of legendary singer Sabina Yasmin and a host of Bangladeshi star artists, expatriate Bengalis enjoyed a different kind of celebration.

Expatriates of all ages came together for the festival, overcoming the constraints of busy and monotonous lives. A wonderful combination of Bengali folk ideas, culture and traditions took place in the Toronto pavilion. The entire premises were filled with the movement of children, teenagers, women and men. This event aims to showcase the culture, history and national identity of Bengal to the new generation, said Shahidul Islam Mintu, founder and convener of Bangladesh Festival.

The event was attended by popular actors Mosharraf Karim, Robena Reza Jui, Tanjika Amin and other renowned artists of the country. Popular songs of the eighties and nineties, lively presentations and a sincere atmosphere made the event more lively. This festival of Bangladeshi culture became an occasion of great reunion for the Bengalis living abroad.
