Chittagong Division's banquet and reception in Calgary, Canada

The annual Chittagong Division's traditional banquet and mejbani fest was held in Calgary, Canada, in the pleasant weather of the sunny and cloudy season of Shravan. A large number of expatriate Bangladeshi families participated in the day-long event recently at Calgary's North Glenmore Park. 

Chittagong's hosts and a variety of delicious foods added an extra dimension to the gathering of young children, teenagers, and families amidst the natural beauty of the park.

The day-long event featured various sports competitions for children and adults, cultural performances, lively discussions, and attractive raffle draws. The entire park was filled with a festive atmosphere, joy, and harmony.  

Various people from Chittagong Division, community figures, and Bangladesh Canada Association President Iqbal Rahman were present at the event. The banquet concluded with an award ceremony and cultural program.

The organizers said that such an event will play an important role in increasing brotherhood, camaraderie and mutual harmony among Bangladeshis living abroad. At the end of the event, gratitude was expressed to the organizers, volunteers and participants.
