Eid Reunion Festival organized by Bangladeshi Families in Portugal

A colorful day-long Eid reunion and celebration was organized by “Bangladeshi Families in Portugal” to spread the joy of Eid among the expatriate Bangladeshis living in Portugal. Organized under the overall supervision of expatriate female entrepreneur Mine Bithi, the festival turned into a lively gathering with the participation of nearly three hundred families from Lisbon and its surroundings.

Senior community leader Rana Taslim Uddin, Portugal Bangla Press Club President Russell Ahmed, General Secretary Shahid Ahmed (Prince) and Organizing Secretary Hafiz Al Asad were present as the chief guests at the event.

The day-long event, which was organized with families to enjoy the joy of Eid abroad, included interesting sports and entertainment activities for children. In addition, there were various competitions organized separately for men and women, which created great enthusiasm among the participants. Prizes were distributed to the winners of each competition, which further increased the joy of the festival.

One of the attractions of the event was the delightful cultural performance. The audience was mesmerized by the melodious musical performances of Shamsul Haque, Kazi Mainur, Gautam Guha and many other artists. Their voices made the entire venue festive and the joy of Eid doubled. Boni, Rafi, Fakhrul, Reshma and many others helped in making this event a success.
