A Bangladeshi expatriate in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, has won a 250-gram, 24-carat gold bar on his first try, with an estimated market value of Tk 5 million.

Gulf News reported on Sunday that a 24-year-old electrician named Mansur Ahmed has won the Big Ticket e-draw for the first time. His ticket number is 054411.

When the victory was announced during the live draw, Mansur was shocked and said, "Really, thank you, sir."

Mansur said he first learned about Big Ticket on social media and formed a group with 10 friends. They won on their first try.

"The prize will be shared equally among everyone in the group. We will buy tickets together and try again. It is an experience we will never forget," he said.
