Chittagong youth dies after falling from an under-construction building in the UAE

A young man named Md. Jamsedul Islam (25) died after falling from a ladder while doing construction work in Al Ain city, United Arab Emirates. He died on Saturday afternoon after undergoing treatment for some time. The deceased Jamsedul's house is in Sreepur-Kharandwip Union of Boalkhali Upazila of Chittagong.

The deceased's relatives said that three years ago he went to the United Arab Emirates for work. He worked as a construction worker in various areas there. On August 16, he went to work from the Musaffah area to the Al Ain area. While working in a building under construction there, he accidentally fell from the stairs and suffered a serious head injury. He was later admitted to the hospital. When his condition deteriorated, he was kept in the ICU. He breathed his last there on Saturday afternoon after battling death for 14 days.

Confirming the matter, deceased Jamsedul's nephew Md. Jobayer said that the death of his uncle has cast a shadow of grief over his family. Relatives are waiting for his body. They have learned that the body will reach the country within this week.
