Mysterious death of 4 Bangladeshi brothers inside a car in Oman

The bodies of four Bangladeshi expatriate brothers have been recovered from inside a car in Oman. They are residents of Rangunia Upazila of Chittagong. It is believed that they may have died due to poisoning from an AC explosion or gas leakage in the car. However, an investigation is underway to find out the exact cause.

The Bangladesh Embassy in Oman has confirmed their deaths. Meanwhile, the death of the four brothers has cast a shadow of grief over the family and the area. The deceased are Rasedul Islam, Shahedul Islam, Sirajul Islam, and Shahidul Islam, residents of Bandarajar Para area of ​​Lalanagar Union in Rangunia.

Local sources said that two of the four brothers were scheduled to return home. One of the brothers who was in the country had a wedding planned. The four brothers went out together in Oman to do their wedding shopping.

It is learnt that the incident took place in the Muladdah area of ​​Oman on Tuesday night. Local people in Oman informed the police about the incident around 8 am on Wednesday. Later, the police went to the spot and recovered the bodies of the four brothers from a car.

Enam, the only surviving brother of the four deceased brothers in the country, told the media in a mournful voice, "Siraj and Shahid were supposed to come to the country and get married. Their flight was on Wednesday night. I never imagined that they would leave us like this while we were happily shopping."

Meanwhile, Rangunia Police Station OC, Md. Zahirul Islam told Bangladesh Pratidin, "We have learned of the death of four Omani expatriate brothers from Rangunia. A team of mine has been sent to the village homes of the deceased. We are trying to find out the details."
