The bodies of two Bangladeshis killed in an Israeli drone strike in Lebanon have returned home. Relatives of the victims arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital to receive the bodies on Saturday (June 7) night.

State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaid was present at the time. He said that 10 expatriate Bangladeshis have been killed in the current war situation in Lebanon. The bodies of seven of them have been brought back to the country. Arrangements will be made to bring back the remaining bodies as soon as possible.

It is worth noting that Lebanese expatriates Shafiqul Islam and Nahidul Islam were killed in an Israeli drone strike in the Jibdin area of ​​Nabatieh district in southern Lebanon. Both of them were from Satkhira. They were killed on May 11 at noon local time.
