The Bangladesh Embassy in Abu Dhabi confirmed the matter in a condolence message.

According to embassy sources, after completing the necessary legal and official procedures, his body is being sent home under special arrangements. Emirates- EK 0580 flight. This flight will land at Dhaka airport at 8.40 am on April 9. His brother-in-law, Shariful, will accompany the body as his entourage.

The Bangladesh Embassy in Abu Dhabi has expressed deep sorrow over the unexpected death of Shah Alam. In a message, the embassy expressed its deepest condolences to the bereaved family of the deceased and prayed for the eternal peace of his departed soul. Shah Alam's sudden death has cast a shadow of grief over his hometown and the diaspora.
