The US Embassy in Dhaka has urged US visa applicants not to provide any false or misleading information during interviews.

The embassy announced this information in a visa warning on social media on Saturday.

The warning is aimed at visa applicants, who are told that consular officers are already aware of any past immigration law violations an applicant may have during the interview.

The embassy emphasizes that applicants should be 100% truthful during the interview, without concealing anything or providing misleading information. If an applicant provides false information or presents forged documents, their visa application may be rejected and they may be permanently barred or banned from entering the United States in the future.
