Jubo Dal's 47th founding anniversary celebrated in Australia

A discussion meeting was held in Australia to commemorate the 47th anniversary of the founding of the Bangladesh Nationalist Youth Party. The event was organized by the Youth Party Australia branch at the 'Nabanna' restaurant in Lakemba, Sydney, on Sunday.

The meeting, chaired by the organization's president, Engineer Minhaj Uddin, was attended by BNP Australia president Mosleh Uddin Howlader Arif as the chief guest. General Secretary Mohammad Abul Hasan, Vice President AKM Fazlul Haque Shafiq and SM Nigar Elahi Chowdhury were special guests.

The discussion meeting was moderated by Mohammad Zakir Hossain Raju, General Secretary of Jubo Dal Australia. Other speakers included BNP Australia Vice President Kamruzzaman Molla Jhintu, Organizing Secretary ANM Masum, Joint General Secretaries Abdus Samad Shiblu, Khairul Kabir Pintu, Mohammad Quddusur Rahman, Arman Hossain Bhuiyan, New South Wales BNP President Mohammad Irfan Khan, BNP Publicity Secretary Lintas Perera, former Jubo Dal Organizing Secretary Masudur Rahman, Jubo Dal Organizing Secretary Nur Mohammad Masum, Advocate Momin Ahmed, Babul Khandaker, Engineer Raihat Hasnat, Sardar Mamun, Mahmudul Haque Dulal, Asit Gomez, Mohammad Shahidullah, Sudhan Joseph Cruz, Sohel Cornelius Palma, among others.

The speakers highlighted the ideals of martyred President Ziaur Rahman and the goal of establishing the Bangladesh Nationalist Youth Party, saying that the objective of this organization, formed in 1978, was to play a role in the country's economic development and the establishment of democracy through organizing the youth and promoting productive politics.

In his speech as the chief guest, Mosleh Uddin Hawlader Arif said, "The Jubo Dal has to play an important role in building the future of Bangladesh. I urge the youth to cast their first vote in the next election for the sheaf of rice."

Speakers at the event called on the youth to actively participate in the country's progress and democratic movement.
