A Bangladeshi expatriate was killed in a road accident in Greece

A Bangladeshi expatriate named Hannan Hawlader has been killed in a road accident in the Greek capital, Athens. The accident occurred in the Halandri area of ​​Athens at 7:30 pm local time on Thursday.

The deceased, Hannan Hawlader, was a deliveryman by profession. He was a resident of Kthe uchiamora area of ​​Shirkhara Union in Madaripur Sadar Upazila and was the son of Latif Hawlader.

Hannan Hawlader was seriously injured on the spot when he collided with a private car while riding a delivery motorcycle in the Halandri area of ​​Athens. He was later taken to the hospital in his injured condition, where authorities declared him dead.

The Greek traffic police have launched an investigation into the matter. The driver of the vehicle involved in the accident has already been arrested and taken into police custody.

The Bangladesh Embassy in Athens confirmed the death. The death of Hannan Howlader has cast a shadow of grief over the Bangladeshi community living in Greece.
