A young man was killed in a Saudi Arabian accident; mother almost went crazy over losing her only son

A young man named Shawon Mirza (25) from Bhanga Municipality of Faridpur has tragically died in a motorcycle accident in Saudi Arabia. He died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday (May 5) morning. Former councilor of Ward No. 2 of Bhanga Municipality, Advocate Zahurul Haque Mithun, confirmed the matter.

The deceased expatriate's home is in Nowpara Mohalla, Ward No. 2 of Bhanga Municipality in Faridpur. He is the only son of the late Zahid Mirza, a former policeman from that Mohalla, and Jharna Begum.

According to local sources, Shaon Mirza migrated to Saudi Arabia two years ago. He was supposed to return to his country on the occasion of the upcoming Eid al-Adha. His father died about 10 years ago. He is survived by three sisters, one brother and an elderly mother. Shaon was the only earning member of their family. 

Shawon worked for a company. Last Tuesday, he was on his way to deliver food on his bike. On his way back, he lost control of his bike while taking a U-turn on the road and hit a palm tree. He was later admitted to the hospital with serious injuries. He died while undergoing treatment at the hospital on Tuesday morning.

Mother Jhorna Begum is almost crazy after losing her only son, Shaon Mirza. Shaon had said that he would come to visit her before the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha. He never came.

Shaoner Mirza's family members have sought the intervention of the relevant government authorities to quickly repatriate his body.
