Bangladeshi worker dies after falling from multi-storey building in Malaysia

A Bangladeshi worker named Millat Hossain (42) died after falling from the 10th floor of a multi-storey building while working in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The incident occurred around 10 am Bangladesh time on Wednesday (July 22).

The deceased Millat hails from the Hasnabad area of ​​Lamchar union in Ramganj upazila of Lakshmipur. He is the son of the deceased Abdur Rashid of Munshi Bari.

Millat's elder brother Sharif Hossain said that his brother migrated to Malaysia about 10 years ago in search of livelihood. There, he was working as a construction worker in Kuala Lumpur. His brother is survived by his wife and two daughters. He fell from the 10th floor of a building while working and died on the spot. My brother was a very good person. All the family members are mentally devastated by his death.

Ramganj Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Kazi Atiqur Rahman said, "I am not aware of the matter. But the incident is sad. All possible assistance will be provided to the family to trace and bring the body back to the country."
