A 21-year-old young man of Bangladeshi origin named Ahnaf Abrar Morshed (Wamik) has been killed in a horrific road accident in Toronto, Canada. The name of the deceased, Wamik's father, is Morshedur Rahman Mamun.

Toronto police and eyewitnesses say that on Sunday, April 5, at about 3:05 p.m., Womick was riding his motorcycle westbound on Danforth Avenue when a Toyota Highlander SUV coming from the opposite direction attempted to turn left into a plaza on the side of the road. The motorcycle and the SUV collided at that moment.

The impact caused Wamiq to lose control of his motorcycle. He then crashed into a parked car on the side of the road. According to witnesses, the entire incident was very sudden and terrifying. Emergency services quickly arrived at the scene immediately after the accident and rescued him. Toronto paramedics took Wamiq to the hospital in critical condition. Despite the best efforts of doctors, it was ultimately not possible to save him. He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Toronto Police Inspector Errol Watson told reporters that the investigation into the exact cause of the accident is ongoing. He said it is not possible to say for sure at this time whether excessive speed, poor driver decisions, or other circumstantial factors played a role in the accident.

As news of Wamiq's death spread, a shadow of grief fell over Toronto's Bangladeshi community.
