BNP Australia expresses deep condolences on Khaleda Zia's death

The BNP family in Australia has expressed deep shock at the news of the death of Begum Khaleda Zia, the "invincible leader" of Bangladesh's democracy, former Prime Minister, and Chairperson of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).

In a written condolence message sent by the party, it was stated that the death of Begum Khaleda Zia is an irreparable loss for Bangladesh and the end of an important chapter in national political history.

The statement said that Begum Khaleda Zia was the first female Prime Minister of Bangladesh and an important symbol of the democratic movement. BNP Australia leaders and activists residing in exile prayed for the eternal peace of her soul and expressed their condolences to the bereaved family.

The statement further said that the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Australia wishes the departed soul of the bereaved leader peace and will preserve the memory of her contributions as part of Bangladesh's political history.

The statement signed by BNP Australia President Mosleh Uddin Hawlader Arif and General Secretary Mohammad Abul Hasan Hasan said, "We express our deepest condolences to Begum Zia's family and pray to Allah to grant her Jannatul Firdous."
