Discussion meeting in memory of martyr Osman Hadi in Paris

A prayer and discussion meeting was held in the French capital, Paris, to discuss the colorful life of Shaheed Sharif Osman Hadi, a frontline fighter of the July Uprising and convener of the Inqilab Manch, and to demand the trial of his killers.

The discussion and prayer ceremony was held on Friday (December 26) at a restaurant in the Ponta area near Paris.

The meeting was presided over by Abdul Mannan Azad, a senior citizen and journalist of the Bangladeshi community in France.

The meeting was moderated by Mohammad Kamruzzaman, convener of the Shaheed Osman Hadi Supporters Forum and senior journalist.

Among the speakers at the meeting, activist Monowar Patwari said, "Osman Hadi is a great general in the struggle against political hegemony in this land. We will continue this fight as his soldiers."

Senior journalist and FBJA coordinator Mohammad Mahbub Hossain said, "The path shown by Shaheed Hadi to prevent cultural hegemony will guide us throughout our lives."

Meeting president Mannan Azad said there is no alternative to fighting on the path shown by Hadi to save the country and nation from the clutches of imperialist vultures.
