Prayer mahfil held in Paris on the death of Begum Khaleda Zia

A prayer meeting was held by the French BNP seeking forgiveness for the soul of the uncompromising leader, BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. Everyone, regardless of party affiliation, attended the prayer meeting held at the Bangladesh Community National Mosque in Aubervilliers, near Paris, on Wednesday. The prayer was led by France Jubo Dal President Ahmed Malek.

The speakers said that the uncompromising leader Begum Khaleda Zia was a symbol of Bangladesh's unity. She fought till death for the independence and sovereignty of Bangladesh.

They said that as long as the struggle to protect independence and sovereignty continues on the territory of Bangladesh, the freedom-loving patriotic people will find courage and inspiration from his life.

Former France BNP vice-president Sirazur Rahman presided over the prayer meeting.
