In the context of the Iran-Israel-US war, the Bangladesh Embassy in Doha has urged expatriate Bangladeshis living in Qatar to offer Eid al-Fitr prayers at the nearest mosque.
The embassy issued this directive in an urgent notice on Tuesday.
The announcement said that in light of the recent war situation in the Gulf region, Qatar's Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has requested everyone to offer this year's Eid al-Fitr prayers in mosques.
Respecting the decision and instructions of the Qatari government, it is not possible to organize the Eid-ul-Fitr congregation at the Bangladesh MHM School and College premises like every year. In this situation, all Bangladeshi citizens residing in Qatar are specially requested to offer Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at the mosques nearest to their respective areas, respecting the instructions of the Qatari government and taking appropriate precautions.
